Founded in 2021 by philanthropist Alice Walton, the School of Medicine will offer a four-year, medical degree-granting program that builds on foundational sciences and clinical practices with a compassionate, inclusive, and whole-person approach to care. Pending accreditation, the School teaches students to support a person’s mental, physical, social, and emotional health and promote resilience, prevent disease, and restore health.

Pending accreditation, Alice L. Walton School of Medicine will be taught by leading medical and scientific minds to help students rise to the health challenges of the 21st century with a focus on physical, mental, emotional, and social health. The School will be a national, state-of-the-art medical facility located in Bentonville, Arkansas with the goal of welcoming its inaugural class in 2025.
