This position is for a June 27th, 2022 start.

What you will be doing

The Business Analyst (BA) is an active member of the project team throughout the phases of the project. You may assist with project estimates, understand project requirements, assist with the creation of Test Plan, Matrix and Scripts. You may execute test scripts and analyze output, reporting and documenting issues and defects to the project team. You may support clients with their testing activities, including defect analysis\research. Keeps FIS Project Manager, Technical Lead and\or Test Coordinator informed of the status of test efforts. You may provide support for applications by researching and answering client questions; may assist the Production Support Team with incident research and resolution. Develops relationships with clients to be available to answer questions, provide information and application support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide input to the Project Initiation estimates.

  • Document changes that are outputs of new application release

  • Document changes that are outputs of customization project (Features & Functionality documents?)

  • Test scripts are updated/saved on SharePoint for future leveraging of test scripts.

  • Assist with research and resolution of Production Support Team incidents.

  • Assist with research and creation of application process improvements.

  • Support TD Bank Core Bank Team/Line of Business/Operations (research, answer questions, engage Corporate, etc.)

  • Provide mentorship as requested.

  • Provides training (internal/external) on changes, new systems, new procedures, application knowledge, etc.

  • Provide input to existing or new policies, procedures, guidelines, and/or templates.

Project Support:

Initiation and Planning

  • May attend requirements and planning (i.e. JRS) sessions with the bank.

  • Supports FIS Project Manager/Application Support Manager in project planning specific to business analyst deliverables.

  • Identify business analyst tasks in support of project schedule build.

  • Research available functionality (RSECS and/or upcoming enhancements to applications).

  • Attend meetings as assigned by Project Manager.

Analysis and Design

  • Actively participate in project schedule build creating detailed business analyst-related tasks, task duration, and task estimates.

  • Support design efforts specifically for new or changed reports or screens.

  • Identify transaction codes and other control file entries.

  • Provide input in support of PDD development.

  • Research available functionality (RSECS and/or upcoming enhancements to applications).

  • Test existing functionality to assist with proof of concepts and\or design.

  • Support creation of FIS Test Plan.

  • Participate in the creation of FIS Test Matrix and Scripts.

Development and Testing

  • Participate in internal and\or bank facilitated Test Planning meetings.

  • Review TD Test Strategy and Plan and review bank requirements for testing dates, phases, and cycle dates.

  • Participate in the creation of Test/Batch Calendars for SIT, BAT, and PAT.

  • Participate in the creation of test cycle runbooks for Development, SIT, BAT, and PAT.

  • May assist with maintaining FIS Defect Log for the start of Development Testing, SIT through PAT.

  • Attend bank test and defect meetings; may report defect status if requested by Technical Lead or Test Coordinator.

  • Coordinate testing plans with banks.

  • Assist with identifying accounts/records to be utilized within test scripts - Execute test scripts.

  • Ensures development meets client requirements and application integrity is maintained.

  • Capture test artifacts.

  • Review, Development test results as requested by the Technical Lead and\or programmers.

  • Analyze and research defects or issues as assigned.

  • Assist with creating and validating input/output test data as needed.

  • Assist with establishing/validating test environments control file changes as well as accessing screens to confirm migration activities were successful.

Implementation and Post Implementation Support

  • Support implementation of projects.

  • Review inquiry level data and provide validation.

  • Review outputs of the 1st cycle after implementation.

  • Support implementation issue and\or defect resolution.

  • Contribute to Lessons Learned.

  • Assist with gathering final test artifacts

  • Document changes that are outputs of customization project (Features & Functionality documents)

What is this position?

The FIS 2021 E01 Program:

As a 2021 E01 Program participant with FIS, you will benefit from an on-the-job training program. As a program participant, you will have the opportunity to be mentored and participate in a team learning environment for 4 months.

The FIS E01 program participants will participate in monthly virtual training with their manager and while receiving bi-weekly performance feedback from their managers.
