We are currently seeking a Manager, Logistics at our facility in Camden, AR.
This position is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the AR Camden Logistics team. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for the following services:
Must be able to successfully manage and lead operational processes to achieve 100% safety, quality, schedules and cost targets with uncompromising ethics and compliance. Requires a positive and teaming leadership style with the ability to lead, train and successfully apply the Aerojet Rocketdyne Business Operating System (ARBOS). The position also requires the ability to interact internally primarily with own team and other supervisors. External interaction is typical with suppliers, vendors and/or customers. Primary purpose of liaison is information sharing and basic problem resolution.

50% - Provide technical and administrative management to the Camden Logictics Team. Ensure standard work is applied through entire Enterprise Logistics organization.
20% - Schedule and utilize employees, material and facilities to ensure that schedules and goals are met.
15% - Establish and maintain applicable records and reports monitoring internal operating controls.
5% - Provide training in Enterprise Logistics processes techniques, policies and procedures and/or safety and environmental procedures.
5% - Provide direction to employees as guided by established policies and procedures. Interpret and execute policies that affect supervised employees.
5% - Prepare, Analyze and report Enterprise Logistics Performance Metrics for Enterprise, BU, Program and site. Attend appropriate reviews.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and seven (7) years of progressive experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in a Lead/Supervisor role specifically working with warehousing, logistics, and transportation. Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Hazardous and Explosive Storage, Hazardous Material - 49CFR & IATA Trained/Certified. Strong Microsoft skills required specifically with Excel, as well as Oracle. Must have strong verbal & written communication skills, analytical, organizational skills and be customer focused.

Citizenship Required or Security Clearance Required
May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

Will require the ability to travel by air or auto. Will require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat.
