Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Security Analyst to join our Security team in our growing Camden, AR facility.

The Security Analyst is responsible for supporting a comprehensive industrial security program in a team setting. This includes Classified Material Control, Classification Management, Personnel Security Clearances, Security Education, and Physical Security. Individual must possess the ability to support multiple programs providing general support in all security functions in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and provide professional interactions with a broad cross-section of government and prime customers and sub-contractors.

This position may be filled at this level or one level higher.

Essential Functions

60% - Supports site security clearance process to include; assisting applicants with initial clearance requests, tracking/following up on applicant status, reviewing SF86's for accuracy, maintaining DISS and personnel records, scheduling initial security briefings, and obtaining fingerprints as required. Support incoming and outgoing site visit requests in DISS. Conduct periodic assessments within DISS to ensure accurate recording and periodic reinvestigations occur timely.

25% - Maintain accurate current DD254 listing and conduct review of classified contract closeout. Will maintain active contract listings in the current Information Management System (IMS) and generate retention authorization letters as required. Ensure all new classified contract details are uploaded in NISS.

15% - Will provide backup support for security team members performing Document Control Management, and Access Control Management. Will assist in performing security inspections to ensure compliance to policies/procedures for the handling and storage of classified or proprietary materials, documents and equipment.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and three (3) years of experience in a directly related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have demonstrated skills, including the ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and support the activities of the assigned organization. Must have the ability to analyze basic security problems and provide focused solutions to accomplish program objectives. Good verbal and written communication skills are needed as this individual will interface with all mid-levels of management, visitors and contractors. Requires the ability to develop and communicate effective written plans, procedures, and instructions.

May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

Desired Qualifications:

  1. General working knowledge of 32 CFR 117 (NISPOM), experience supporting industrial security programs, and application of operational security methodology is desired.
  2. General working knowledge of DISS and NISS
  3. Strong working knowledge of Windows based computer environments and Microsoft Office productivity software.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

The work environment may require a combination of indoor and outdoor activity (hot, cold, wet, humid conditions) with a varied amount of walking, standing, sitting, climbing (i.e. ladders, stair, scaffolding, ramps), balance (maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces), bending, reaching, handling/fingering (seizing, holding, grasping, turning picking, pinching), stooping, kneeling, crouching and ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, employees may work around variable noise levels. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. May also be required to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer. Ability to distinguish colors may also be necessary. Some employees may be required to drive between various locations within the Company facility or between locations. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
