Job Summary
This is a critical role within our Go-to-Market and Strategic Accounts team. This role will be responsible for establishing relationships with large national consulting firms, informing our Go-to-Market strategy and managing relationships both internally and externally to support growth.

Requirements

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field. In lieu of degree, five (5) years' relevant experience will be considered.

EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years experience in healthcare industry, preferably in customer-facing roles.
  • Previous sales experience in mid or large market.
  • Solid national relationships with thought leaders, influencers, and lead consultants.
  • Deep understanding of market expectations in medical landscape required.
  • Experience with complex negotiations for long-term relationship management.
  • Track record of success forging productive relationships within consulting community.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with demonstrated strategic planning and execution skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Brings thought leadership to market.
  • Brings insights uncovered about competitors through relationships and quote opportunities.
  • Serves as key member of the national accounts sales and growth team, leads sales efforts for the company, and ultimately manages relationships with employee benefit consulting firms.
  • Builds relationships with key contacts in consulting community to drive awareness, interest and preference for Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield.
  • Collaborates with national accounts team and other cross-functional areas to ensure our roadmap is informed with priorities expressed by key decision makers and market influencers.
  • Assists in developing Go to Market (GTM) strategy for each product.
  • Works closely with sales and account management teams to share information from the consulting community and supports the establishment of relationships nationally.
  • Collaborates in future product development roadmap and product packaging based on input from consulting community.
  • Coordinates participation in events sponsored by the consulting firms which will further our mutual business opportunities as well as national annual conferences.
  • Builds awareness around all offerings for Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield.
  • Generates interest by focusing on our differentiators, with the goal of identifying opportunities to be included in future RFPs and capability meetings.

Security Requirements

This position is identified as level three (3). This position must ensure the security and confidentiality of records and information to prevent substantial harm, embarrassment, inconvenience, or unfairness to any individual on whom information is maintained. Segregation of Duties

Segregation of duties will be used to ensure that errors or irregularities are prevented or detected on a timely basis by employees in the normal course of business. This position must adhere to the segregation of duties guidelines in the Administrative Manual.
