Job Description

Danfoss is seeking a Site Maintenance Manager to join our Searcy Team. The team's role is going to be dedicated in the maintenance, efficiency and upkeep of the entire facility and all the equipment within. This position will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations for the facility, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and promoting a safe working environment.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Oversee and manager the maintenance team, including training and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies to optimize equipment performance and longevity.
  • Monitor downtime occurrences and efficiencies of production areas, aiming for continuous improvement.
  • Train, motivate, and direct employees to follow safe, quality work methods and standards.
  • Manages KPI performance of the entire department to achieve set objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address equipment performance issues.
  • Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems to the faulty component.
  • Follow all Safety Rules, including PPE, NEC, and OSHA.
Background & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree from Technical College or University, in lieu of degree, 5 years maintenance management experience will be takeninto consideration.
  • 5 years minimum in supervisory role
  • 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing industry is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic/hydraulic drawings, schematics, and engineering blueprints.
  • Ability to read precision measuring instruments is a plus.
  • Physically capable of prolonged standing and working in awkward positions.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of advanced processing and process equipment.
  • Able to operate computer and system interface programs to ensure appropriate computing and analysis of production information.
  • Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation.
  • Strong team member, able to work well with a global team, ability to prioritize activities.
  • Proficiency with software applications, Microsoft Office, Excel as well as specific programs of such as SAP and Maximo; able to create reports and document procedures.
