Interested in managing design for various airport projects, like runway improvements, taxiways, aprons, airfield grading and drainage, hangars, fuel farms, parking decks, terminal buildings, and other airport construction related projects? Enjoy working on a multidisciplined team for diverse clients and providing outstanding client service?
We've got an opportunity for you on our Arkansas Aviation team in Rogers as a Project Manager - Aviation Civil.
As part of Garver's Aviation team, you'll produce full design phase deliverables including drawings, specifications, cost estimates, exhibits, technical reports, and narratives for airports across the region. You'll collaborate and coordinate with multidiscipline design engineers, planners, and technicians,. You'll use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Storm and Sanitary, and other civil design software packages. You may work 2-5 hours of overtime a week to complete tasks. You'll do some traveling with the occasional overnight.
What you'll do:
- Manage aviation design projects (airside and landside) related to new pavement construction, drainage improvements, utility relocation, sustainable design, and pavement rehabilitation projects
- Manage construction administration and oversight for aviation clients
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and funding agencies
- Provide outstanding client service
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 4 or more years of experience in civil engineering or an aviation related field
- Professional Engineer licensure (PE) or ability to obtain licensure within 12 months of hire
Bonus points if you bring these, too:
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software packages
