Job SummaryThe Clinical Data Analyst Lead, with advanced knowledge and expertise, provides critical support for the quality, validity and integrity of confidential data to use in decision making and organizational efficiency improvement initiatives. The incumbent retrieves, analyzes and summarizes business, medical, operations, financial, sales, customer and/or economic data in order to develop competitive and business intelligence, to optimize effectiveness and/or predict business outcomes. Incumbent identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns and prepares ongoing reports and data visualizations in order to support business decisions. Incumbent is expected to serve as a coach and mentor with advanced data analytics knowledge. The incumbent will be responsible for Clinical analysis of data supporting initiates, cost of care projects, and some vendor management oversight accountability.

Requirements

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Math, Business, Data Science/Informatics, Actuarial Science, Healthcare Management, or other related field. In lieu of degree, five (5) years' health-related, non-clerical experience with an insurance, managed care, or healthcare technology-related organization will be considered.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum seven (7) years' data analytics experience, which includes data extraction, data manipulation, repository building and data interpretation OR Master's degree in a related field with minimum five (5) years' data analytics experience.
Minimum one (1) year of experience presenting on analysis and interpretation of data required.
Opportunity to build knowledge in database rationale. Collaborates with internal stake holders as business liaison to support database developer reporting.
Previous project management experience with large-scale, cross-functional projects required.
Experience with cost of care projects and clinical reporting needs. Drives business needs of assigned functional area to execution.

validation standards, Develops reports and dashboards that will define, support and forecast position of the enterprise, Integrates data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensures data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed to develop statistics and design methodologies to be used for decision making and new business initiatives, Leads the development and delivery of data analysis findings, solutions, and recommendations
presentations to leadership, Other duties as assigned, Provides training and technical support to team members and/or users on customized reporting tools
and various work processes, Serves as a coach and mentor for team members and may be required to make decision in the
absence of leadership, Serves on special projects
