What you'll do

We're seeking a dedicated Technical Product Manager to join our Identity and Access Management team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in defining how Docusign's customers handle their users within our platform, their access to resources, and how users collaborate with others to create and manage agreements.

You will have to think about how to build experiences for customers of all sizes, from very small businesses to large multinational enterprises. You will be tasked with creating innovative solutions for identity management across UI and APIs, with a focus on adopting industry standards like SCIM and working across the industry to shape the evolution of those standards.

In this position, you will have to partner closely with other parts of the product and technology organization, design and research, support, legal teams, and more. You will bring a high level of technical expertise on distributed systems, working closely with engineers to ensure high reliability and scalability of our platform.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Product Management - Identity and Security.

Responsibility

  • Define and drive the strategy for how Docusign's customers manage their employees' access to resources, focusing on SCIM functionality
  • Evaluate and optimize how groups are used by customers to streamline employee access
  • Lead the implementation of new features and enhancements related to identity and access management, ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry best practices
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and customer success to prioritize and deliver impactful solutions
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and thought leadership on identity management trends and technologies
  • Champion customer feedback and insights to continuously improve our products and services

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or similar role, with a focus on identity and access management
  • Deep understanding of identity protocols and standards such as SCIM, OAuth, and SAML
  • Experience with API design principles

Preferred

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Advanced degree preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making


Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $93,500.00 - $143,175.00 base salary

Illinois and Colorado: $87,400.00 - $120,175.00 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $87,400.00 - $128,525.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
