Sales Operations Specialist, ServiceMax

Overview:

The Sales Operations Specialist is an essential partner to the ServiceMax (SMAX) business unit and Revenue operations team. They act as part of the operational frontline in ensuring SMAX customer success by executing an efficient order management process and delivering seamless solution provisioning.

As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will execute a system-based order process delivering the ServiceMax software to end customers through the Salesforce.com platform. Working cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Finance, and Customer Support, you will gain a deep understanding of SalesForce.com Reporting, Dashboards, Analytics, Channel Management and Servicemax License provisioning.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing New Bookings, Amendments and Renewals Orders through utilizing Salesforce.com for the ServiceMax business unit of PTC including, but not limited to:

  • Delivering initial ServcieMax solution purchases through ServiceMax provisioning processes

  • Placing service orders for cancellations, renewals, reductions and add-ons

  • Managing activation dates and transfer requests

  • Maintaining active license records ensuring Customers are accurately provisioned per their contract

  • Creating and maintaining ServiceMax product installations links and templates to be delivered to Customers

  • Maintaining Customer Data Integrity in SFDC

  • Handling Ad hoc Customer audit requests or support requests from the Sales team

  • Ensure timely service delivery and accurate license management, maximizing revenue recognition timing and limiting Royalities cost exposure

  • Working cross functionally across the organization to ensure alignment and accuracy amongst sales, customer, and finance operations teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar

  • 0-3 years working experience

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Mathematically adept

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Process and detail oriented

  • Ability to prioritize, change gears and adapt to changing requests from business

  • Proficiency with Excel

  • Basic understanding of SFDC a plus!

  • Experience in order/customer operations a plus!
