Summary: Senior level Systems Operations Analyst are responsible for delivering technology based professional services to FIS clients at a subsidiary level. Independently implements highly complex operating environment standards and methodologies. Serves as subject matter expert (SME) in several capacities.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Implements highly complex operating environment standards and methodologies to FIS clients at a subsidiary level.
* Performs complex operating system software updates and upgrades.
* Coordinate with Systems support and executes new complex hardware systems migrations including system IPL's.
* May provide support and training for Associate, Level I and Level II Systems Operations Analysts.
* May serve as a team leader.
* Serves as SME in one or more areas related to system operations/administration.
* May be involved with personal interaction with FIS clients regarding their complex operating system needs.
* Assist other groups with operational training.
* Adheres to strict quality control standards including documentation and procedures.
* Makes recommendations for new or improved operating system practices and standards.
* Performs other related duties assigned as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in business, marketing, sales or computer science
- minimum of 8 years experience working with multiple operating systems and platforms - Extensive Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and procedures
- Skill in excellent writing, editing, communications, presentation, human relations and interpersonal skills
- Skill in PCs, spreadsheets and various other software applications use
- Ability to sequence and monitor multiple activities for self and others
- Ability to analyze client/operational requirements and translate them into acceptable solutions
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and presentation required
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients and public
